About New Jersey - Kean University

Junior Summer Programs provide students aged 14-17 with English language immersion on campus. Kean University is located in Union, New Jersey, only 40 minutes from downtown Manhattan by New Jersey Transit.  It is the third largest public university in New Jersey. Kean University is home to the Liberty Hall Museum, a historic landmark housing some of the last undiscovered treasures of the American Revolution.

Programme Highlights

  • 2 x extended full days to New York with dinner in Manhattan
  • 4 x afternoon/evening trips to New York with dinner in Manhattan
  • Entrances included in New York: MOMA, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Top of the Rock, American Museum of Natural History
  • Academic Choice: Instead of General English, you can choose to study Employability English. This is a business focused syllabus for students aged 14+ and with a minimum level B1. It also consists of two local business visits. Please note, sufficient demand is required to run this programme and please advise us at time of booking.


  • Twin apartments configuration: each apartment has two double-occupancy bedrooms, a small living room and a kitchen.
