Covid19 Statement

Update on BEO World Programmes from UK Managing Director Gary Palmer

The health and welfare of everyone participating in one of our programmes is always our top priority. In light of the World Health Organisation’s labelling of the coronavirus (Covid19) as a global pandemic, we have decided to postpone the BEO World programmes due to be held in England in April 2020 to July/August 2020.

The new dates for the BEO World Programmes are as follows:

BEO: 23rd/24th July to 6th/7th August

Masters: 2nd/3rd July to 14th/15th July

WEE: 13th/14th/July to 27th/28th July

We take the health and safety of our students, staff and partners very seriously. And although we know everyone will be disappointed by this decision, it would be remiss of Oxford International and our partners to proceed with an event which brings together over 3,500 people from over 25 countries.

One of Oxford International’s values is the care of our students. We put our students and their goals at the heart of everything we do. We know and appreciate how much hard work everyone has put in preparing for these fantastic competitions. We want this experience to be a lifelong, joyous memory for all the right reasons.
BEO World programmes have been running since 2009 and will continue to run for many years to come.

We thank you for your understanding and hope you appreciate this decision has not been made lightly. It has been made purely in the interests of the wellbeing of everyone involved in the programme.

We send our thoughts to everyone around the world in these trying times and we look forward to welcoming you all to the UK very soon.

You can visit our BEO Page for the latest information on the programme.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team at OIJuniorProgrammes@oxfordinternational.com.

Sincerely,

Gary Palmer
