The Masters Post 2

Dear Masters teams,

Many hellos from London. We are one week closer to The Masters 2020, and we are back with some answers to your first few questions.

We hope that the clarifications below are just what you need.

Amanda & the Oxford International team

Question:

We saw that on the Sample Programme that there are activities such as: Mixed Team Mystery Challenge, Mystery Academic Challenge and Talent show… and in the handbook there is a thing called The Masters Academic Fair. Some of my team have previously participated in the BEO, so they asked what those activities are about and if there is any preparation needed.

Answer:

The Masters Academic Fair is a new name for the Mixed Teams Academic Challenge and there is no need to prepare for it. Similarly, there is nothing that needs to be done for the Mixed Team Mystery Challenge as that is very much a fun event designed to help the students to get to know one another.

The Talent Show follows very much the same concept as the one on the BEO. It is something most teams tend to prepare for. There will be more information on that coming via one of our bulletins in due time.

Question:

We have also noticed there is something called International Night in the programme. Can you tell us a bit more about it?

Answer:

International Night is one of the evening events designed for the students to get to know their peers and learn a bit about each other’s countries. You can read more about it in one of our bulletins here.
