Our students complement their STEM learning with a variety of activities and excursions around Toronto. A standard two-week program includes half-day excursions, on-campus activities, and full-day experiences, giving students time to discover the city alongside their hands-on STEM program.

About the programme
Topic 1: Drone Building, Coding & Engineering.
Build and code your own drone, complete flight challenges, and take it home.
Topic 2: Video Game Design & Development.
Design, code, and test your own video game.
Topic 3: AI-Powered Coding.
Explore AI through hands-on Python and JavaScript projects.
Topic 4: Web & App Design.
Create your own website or app using UI/UX and front-end design.

Activity choice:
For a supplement, there is the capacity for post-programme trips to Blue Mountain, French Canada (Ottawa, Montréal, Québec) and New York City.
Academic choice:
For a supplement, you can add an IELTS test to your programme here, which is held at the downtown Oxford International English school. Please inform us at least six weeks in advance when making your booking.

Kid Coding School
Kids Coding School is a STEM-focused learning academy for youth in Downtown Toronto. We offer engaging, project-based programs that build real-world technical skills, boost confidence, and strengthen English communication through hands-on learning. Our instructors are CELTA-certified and hold Computer Science degrees from leading universities, delivering personalized, high-quality instruction that empowers students to become confident innovators and problem-solvers. With Oxford International, every moment is an opportunity to enhance your language skills and experience the unique energy of Toronto!
Facilities:
- Short walk to Toronto’s top sightseeing spots: Dundas Square, The Eaton Centre and City Hall, Harbourfront, and much more
- TMU Recreation and Athletics Centre (RAC) is available for use. Please see the Centre Manager for pricing
- The International Living and Learning Centre (ILC) features a community kitchenette on each floor a common lounge with cable TV and laundry facilities. There is also a cafeteria and lounge space on the main floor

Students will stay at the Toronto Metropolitan University Residence, offering comfortable accommodation in the heart of downtown Toronto with easy access to the city’s top attractions and our programme activities.
