Our students enjoy a variety of fun and exciting activities and excursions, experiences that become some of the most memorable moments of their time at Oxford International Halifax. The standard two-week program includes ten half-day excursions to explore Halifax’s most iconic attractions, as well as two full-day excursions.

About the programme

Our programme is all-inclusive and includes visits to Halifax’s most iconic destinations Peggy’s Cove and Queensland Beach, ensuring students experience the very best of the city as part of their journey with us! Our program brings English to life through fun, engaging lessons that build all core language skills. It’s a perfect opportunity to experience authentic Canadian culture while building friendships with classmates from around the world!

  • 15 hours of English lessons per week
  • English levels: Elementary – Proficiency (programme can be adjusted to lower English levels)
  • 1 full-day excursion per week
  • Visit to the top attractions in Halifax
  • Exciting outdoor activities
  • Build lasting friendships while experiencing a rich mix of nationalities and cultures.

 

Academic choice:

For a supplement, you can add an IELTS test to your programme here, which is held at the downtown Oxford International English school. Please inform us at least six weeks in advance when making your booking.

 

Oxford International Junior Programmes understands that occasionally slightly young/older siblings or friends may wish to come in a group. Oxford International Junior Programmes reserves the right to accept students who are slightly younger or older than the advertised minimum/maximum age. These exceptional requestions must be approved by our admissions team in advance. Appropriate welfare and safety provisions will apply.
