The standard two-week program includes ten half-day excursions to explore Vancouver’s most iconic attractions, as well as two full-day excursions.

About the programme
Our programme is all-inclusive and includes visits to Vancouver’s most iconic destinations Whistler and Granville Island, ensuring students experience the very best of the city as part of their journey with us! Our program brings English to life through fun, engaging lessons that build all core language skills. It’s a perfect opportunity to experience authentic Canadian culture while building friendships with classmates from around the world!
- 15 hours of English lessons per week
- English levels: Elementary – Proficiency (programme can be adjusted to lower English levels)
- 1 full-day excursion per week
- Visit to the top attractions in Vancouver
- Exciting activities both on campus and outdoors
- Build lasting friendships while experiencing a rich mix of nationalities and cultures.
Academic choice:
For a supplement, you can add International English Learning Testing System (IELTS) – held at the downtown Oxford International English school. Confirm in advance.
Oxford International Junior Programmes understands that occasionally slightly young/older siblings or friends may wish to come in a group. Oxford International Junior Programmes reserves the right to accept students who are slightly younger or older than the advertised minimum/maximum age. Based at the University of British Columbia, our Summer Junior Programme combines top-quality teaching with Vancouver’s vibrant culture and stunning surroundings. In interactive lessons, you’ll develop your vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills, while stepping beyond the classroom to explore the city’s lively streets, parks, and local attractions. With Oxford International, every moment is an opportunity to improve your language skills and experience the unique energy of Vancouver!
Facilities:

- Grass field, tennis and basketball courts and access to university softball diamond, ice rink and indoor swimming complex
- Lounges in the accommodation area with TV, sofas and basic kitchen. The commons block offers Wi-Fi and dining.
Accommodation:
University residence accommodation offers a safe and convenient on-campus living experience, giving students the chance to connect with peers from around the world.
